Content Producer
A highly-skilled and dynamic Content Producer is required to implement the editorial policy and realise outstanding material in all media.
Responsibilities include:
- Write, produce, and present editorial content for the portal including interviews, features, reviews, and news items.
- Organise and participate directly in the production of video and audio content, using DV-CAM and Avid NLE systems.
- Edit news items for the web and mobile devices from wires and secondary sources.
- Conduct interviews and write, produce, and present original feature and review articles.
- Maintain and develop relationships with PRs, distributors, and the broader filmmaking community.
- Develop strategy for engaging with, and building our audience and registered user base.
- Supervise packaging and repurposing of content across media into video, audio, text, and mobile formats.
You need:
- An in-depth knowledge of, and passion for, the world of independent cinema.
- The ability to research and write outstanding editorial content.
- Excellent contacts and sources within the film industry.
- Substantial supervisory experience of rich media production in a web or broadcast environment.
